Aloha, my name is Shayna. I was born and raised in Hawaii and now living in Oregon. While the PNW is beautiful, it is hard to find pua (flowers) native to my Hawaii nei (beloved). Because of this, I started making my own lei out of artificial flowers. Afterwards, I began making my own artificial flowers to make things other than lei such as jewelry and accessories. Here I am now trying to spread the aloha and beauty from Hawaii.
My middle name is Ma'ema'e which is a family name belonging to my grandmother and great-grandmother. It means to be pure and/or clean. Hana means to work or labor. I strive for each of my crafts to embody pure, clean work and hope that it brings you all the aloha that I put into it.
